Dating System

The calendar on Technicolor Earth still uses the birth of Christ as the starting point, but instead uses the 'year of the newborn sun' as the starting point rather than 'year of our lord', the resulting calendar is known as the Dawn System, Before Christ becomes Before Dawn, or B.D. while Anno Domini becomes New Dawn or N.D. dates are written either as B.D. 1200 or N.D. 2002. The common era system has never managed to supersede the dawn system because, although ostensibly based on the birth of Christ, the dawn age around N.D. 1 is a verifiable historical period during which major upheavals in Roman geopolitics occurred and spread out globally, hence the dawn system can be treated as referring to the secular dawn age, rather than the dawn of christianity, the dawn age itself is the term used in place of "biblical times".
