Bring

Bring is lean and mean; he’s an extremely laid back man, rarely smiling except for his cocky smirk when not under stress, and tries to act annoyed by those around them, even though he cares deeply. He’s hardened by the things he’s done in his life; but is prideful and childish when with his husband, often scowling through whatever activity Anew arranged to get them out with others, he was never unhappy, he only genuinely smiles around his husband, and only laughs with him. When Anew annoyed him too much with couples stuff, he’d take control by becoming childishly competitive and prideful.

His most callous moments are born from pure pragmatism and not wanting to deal with new burdens and distractions; Bring is also very blunt, and will not bother with excuses or apologies for his words and actions. He is still strongly compassionate and reluctantly kind, and as a doctor refuses to kill for no reason, though this can easily be overcome by threatening his husband, Bring is also honorable and won’t take credit for the work of others; to the point of admitting that his life was on a downward spiral and it was only Anew who gave him strength and hope again.

Always trying to act stoic with Anew’s antics, even his wanton displays of emotion, crying at music, laughing at jokes, all in poor taste within their culture, yet he truly lived for Anews smiles, he loves things he thinks are cool, and fanboys over them a lot, though always deadpan in doing so. Though a gruff mean old asshole, he was never less than a perfect boyfriend and husband to Anew, though often very much a dom, protecting and caring for an Op̄tr who’s psychic abilities were far stronger than his own. His smooth baritone is very seductive.

Even for an Op̄tr, Bring is extremely intelligent; he graduated from training at 10, and medical school at 16; becoming a top surgeon by 20, and a god general, by collecting the hearts of 100 most wanted, by 24 when he met Anew. It was love at first sight, seeing a small thick Op̄tr yell at his much higher superior as if they were equals, without a second thought. They dated for 2 years, before getting married, with Bring building them a small home inside a grotto in a forest; a henge style, with sparkling fabric curtains, their furniture; a giant canopy bed, a couch, coffee table, two chairs, a wardrobe, and several shelves, along with a large fireplace, placed directly upon the tall grass and wildflowers.

Haunted by the horrible things he’s done using his medical knowledge, hardened by his time within Terminal Dogma, his complete detachment from his work makes him feel like a monster, and the only thing in his life that ever made him feel warm and truly loved was Anew, who he wants back desperately. His despair has caused him to begin Bending, greatly enhancing his powers while driving him almost to the point of a nervous breakdown.

From the Flavance colony, a world with abundant exotic matter deposits which were ultimately found to be highly toxic to liquid light forms; bioaccumulating in their bodies like heavy metals and being passed from generation to generation; this was kept secret by the elders to maintain their chief export; Bring would not have lived past 20 if he didn’t learn medicine and purge the exotic matter from his body using his unique teleportation ability. He was able to escape with the help of a disgraced elder family before Flavance was attacked under the belief that the exotic matter toxin was a disease; working for them as an interrogator in their drug dealing business.

Getting his arm cut off by his ‘uncle’ when Bring told him he was going to marry Anew, forcing him to regrow it from the stump, Bring’s family otherwise made no effort to hinder their union; though he recovered most of his dexterity; allowing him to continue practicing medicine. He and Anew lived happily, getting several Oquarh’s to live around their home ‘moon grotto’ these animals being analogous to a sheep; wolly with inflatable bladder ‘horns’ used to scare predators and attract mates, and whose bellies are always covered in pollen and seed casings.

Equipped with a giant katana about the same size as his whole body; 194 centimeters tall, black with red decorations and a typical double helical hilt; this is a holy weapon, capable of shapeshifting and with an independent will, able to penetrate any AIM field with some effort. He often uses this weapon as a catalyst for many of his abilities, which are all medically themed; such as holding his fingers a certain way as a mnemonic trick to help him cut, he can cut peoples interiors without harming their exterior; as well as levitation, telekinesis, and even phasing through matter.

He can use his ability to convert quantum states to quantum teleport himself and others; destroying them at the quantum level *here* and then creating a perfect quantum copy out of matter and energy *elsewhere*, allowing him to pass through walls or aid him in treatments; such as removing all of a toxic substance from a body and reducing it to a simple organic residue.
