Super Solenoid Theory

The Dirac Sea was a model of the vacuum as an infinite sea of particles containing negative energy; which was thought to explain why electrons could not continuously radiate infinite energy as they fell into lower and lower energy states; the sea fills all low energy states and prevents this from happening. Unfortunately it was shown that an infinite sea always has room to accept new particles, and had to be discarded.

By creating a artificial Dirac Sea, it is possible to create an infinite energy device; by drawing particles of antimatter out of the sea and annihilating them with particles of matter drawn from any normal source; such a cycle of energy generation can be spliced into the metabolism of a living creature; exactly as the Op̄tr have with their Super Solenoid Organs, which provide their biological creations with limitless motive energy; and abilities of self-regeneration and metamorphosis which exceed the bounds of common sense for living organisms.

Op̄tr Super Solenoid Organs use AIM to produce perfectly clean reactions, producing only photons, which then provide energy to a gamma ray based form of photosynthesis. These organs have been salvaged and connected to organic converters to transform the provided metabolic energy into electricity, but are generally not considered safe because of the chance of overloading; limiting their use.

Humans have tried to create their own Super Solenoid Organs; but the single attempt to install one destroyed the lab and everyone within it, annihilating the surrounding military base in 2015. The Arkbird class suborbital airships; giant cetean cyborg airships created from Op̄tr biotechnology, are themselves powered by giant humanoids created by the Op̄tr and left behind through their super solenoids using an umbilical cable. These ships are only capable of getting airborne via the halos; radion accelerators, these giants produce.

Dirac Seas can act as opening between dimensions of the multiverse; acting as a corridor between universes through a higher dimension internal to the sea; they can also be used as a special class of wormhole to connect two non-adjacent locations in normal space through said higher dimension.
